My wife and I worked in one of the gardens this afternoon. It was about 4 C, but sunny. After supper I went out and photographed a crocus and a hellebore flower. These were in camera focus stacks and processed.

Thanks Dave. Yes, I am feeling a bit sore after the work. My arms hurt somewhat from raking and wielding the 'hedge clippers' and leaf blower. My back is worse than before but I think I need to do things and see how it goes. I had some Aberlour 12 yr last night, but likely not more than a 'shot'. More than two and I would regret it.

Thanks Rich. I was a bit surprised when I saw the flowers. The hellebores especially. There are two different ones in bloom as well but they were somewhat flattened by the heavy snow we had late last week.

Thanks WN. I was too late getting out with the camera after the yard work and the sun was getting lower in the sky. The crocuses were mostly closed by the time I shot them. I also had a difficult time getting the focus stacking to work with the EM1ii. Could not recall how! Using different bodies has disadvantages!

Another wild idea .. You could start a weekly thread for pictures and likes -- ONLY --- ..... if C&C or just discussion is desired then the poster also starts another independent thread with the picture posted a second time ... a bit of user requirement but gives the advantage of viewing the week in one place and comments made where they can be coherent!!!.... As I wrote a wild thought a bit like early simulation attempts .... maybe later after you see how this goes ...
