I have seen a bit anomalous view, when people use Flickr embed code - Flickr doesn't insert any line break between image url and description, which may result part of description shown next to image, not below it (at least on wider screens). Example here.
Sure we can't change Flickr code.
Manually it is easy to insert some break after image url - but not all users will do that.
I suggest to add a little CSS bit - display:block for img element, which is inside article and a elements (or how exactly we can find linked images). From what I could see while playing with that idea, other parts of post content or other kind of images will not be affected.
