Early attempt at still life with an old faithful Canon Nifty Fifty. The image was processed this morning from the original RAW file. Mostly cropped square, reverse vignette, dust spots removed and a little cheer added.

Perhaps stretching the notion of leaves beyond the breaking point. Let us see...
Another attempt at still life rather more recent made with a vintage lens. Probably 50mm VHE enlarging lens.

As far as I know blades of grass are considered leaves, so yes, that's fine!

Great arrangement and capture! I like the use of complementary colors.

I'm happy that @kgwhite and @TomAxford have shown some beautiful studio arrangments of leaves. It's not something you see a lot as the main subject, but it tends to work exceptionally well in my opinion. Unfortunately most of my "arranged" shots are a bit more chaotic and all over the place, but I really like creating what I perceive as interesting arrangments in the moment:

I actually photograph leaves as still life subjects quite often. Sometimes they get used years later.

Nice shots and variation among them! Thanks for reminding me about conifer leaves by the way... I always forget about those, even though they are the most common trees around here.
