Threads looks to be OK now. It may go off again, but I will fix it as I see the issue.

The web site (the-photo.org) has now been updated with links to our main discussion forums front & centre.

The main forum structure is now in place and we will be hiding the third level forums to make it look easier. I will post how to easily get to where you want to be in the Forum Guidelines.

Where and how can be found discussions and photos on the topic of "macro", for example?

All the rare and mostly unused forums (and Macro had about 10 threads in the last year) are in Showcase your Images.

OK, but if someone who hasn't posted macro photos wants to see macro photos, where can they find those posted by others?🙂

Currently by search only (well, 250 posts...).
There was need for some compromise - either have hundred forums with little or no traffic or some simple clear structure for newcomers and to advocate our weekly discussions. It would be possible to reinstate some forums in future; also it could be possible that some weekly macro discussion will come to live.
