I made a Sci-Fi themed series from Fractal images, so I will post here some of them in the hope that someone can be interested.

Some of them will be accompanied by links to short video clips.
First sample is a morphing object (for cross-viewing).

This image is meant to be a demo regarding the positioning of the object far outside the screen.

On a large screen and at a higher resolution, it gives the impression that you can insert your hand between the object and the screen.

    Thanks for appreciation!😀

There are several programs for generating 3D fractals. For example, I use Mandelbulb 3D (MB3D) and Mandelbulber.

I experiment with different formulas until interesting images result. It usually takes at least a few hours, sometimes 10-14 hours, until a combination interesting enough to keep is obtained.

Rendering a final complex 3D pair at high resolution can take up to several hours using an 8-core processor, so rendering a short video clip (a few seconds) that includes related tests can take several days.
    ........................
For example, the attached image is prepared to be viewed with VR devices with head tracking in the 360* 3D VR mode. The original has a resolution of 8000x8000 pixels.

Thanks for the inspiration 3dGunner. These fractal shapes were fun to "use" with my techniques.

This is not 3D, but it is very interesting.

Now that looks much better. Perhaps it's the "simplicity" of the fractals that allow for such a nicer sharpening.

Fractal images look cool. Like these. Surprised it can take hours for an 8 core computer to render an image. Wish my eyes/brain processed cross images. Thought I could years ago.
    Thanks,

Only some formulas require serious hardware resources and a long time for rendering, which contain many iterations and in situations with complex lighting, reflections and shadows, at high resolutions.

I said "up to" several hours.🙂
