    To keep the Caffenol momentum going, another one,
    This was my first try do develop an expired (just about two years only) Fuji Superia X-tra 400
    Developing timer was set for 60 minutes, caffenol was at a steady 22c during developing.
    Agitated for a full minute at start and again at 15, 30 and 45 minutes. Might agitate a bit less next time, there is some bromide drag visible in some of the negatives
    Stop bath (1 minute) and fix bath 5 minutes after the developing and finally some washing and left it hang to dry.
    This first result is okay for scanning as it turned out.
    It's actually still a dark brownish film. hard to see anything without a good light source. The scanner (plustek 8200i) did well with scanning these negatives in black/white without the infrared scan (dust removal) option enabled
    Next time I'll go for a 70 minute developing time with C41 Color film and also a longer fix bath time.

    @Photobygms - I did not have a good experience developing C41 Fuji Superia film with black and white developer.
    How was the colour of the film base? When I tried it, the film base was almost black and the images were barely visible...though I used Ilfosol 3 developer and the film was nearly 20 years old.... sooooo that might have had something to do with it ;)

    @Greg - I'm a fan of Ribsy's channel too.

    @aenoether The film was still dark orange/brownish after developing, scanning with our plustek 8200i did actually work out okay.
    I might go for 70 minutes next time when I thinking about developing another C41 film in Caffenol-C-L
    Have also tried Ilford XP2 super 400 in Caffenol, and came to a similar conclusion, I'll need to add more time compaired to the other B/W films.

    Looks good .
    I keep meaning to try Caffenol myself but never get around to it .
    I've some old C41 that needs developing , I think I'll try some in this and the rest in Rodinol to see how it comes out .

    I haven’t tried XP2. I just got a 100’ expired. Maybe give it a try
