For Fujifilm, it is particularly complicated and confusing!

Here we have the FUJIX DS-1P presented at Photokina in 1988

    FUJIX DS-1P.jpg

Unfortunately, it was never marketed, and there are only a few copies of this camera.
    See here for more information.

    The follow-up to the 1989 FUJI X DS-X
Which does not seem to have been marketed, too!

The first that seems to have been sold by Fujifilm is the 1991 Fuji DS-100
And I found a copy on eBay in the year 2000

If you have used one of these Fujix, I would like to have feedback on your experience, if possible.

Cool. Lot of history seeing how things develop over time. I keep meaning to ask…how many cameras do you have?

I remember these! A brother-in-law had one. It was svelte and very pocketable.

Interesting the Digilux clone was a Fuji or I guess the Fuji came first and the Leica later. Since then all Leica rebadges have been Lumix bodies.

I love the Digilux 2, I wish I could still have mine.

    Hi,

Maw dang. I have practically zero by comparison.

    Nikon E2
    Nikon D1H
    Kodak 520c
    Kodak 760c
    Nikon Df
    Pentax 645D

Only the E2 is non functional. And it might work but it is sans battery pack and I have no battery eliminator as I once did.

    Stan

My two Fujix DS-505 and DS-515 refuse to work today, I suspect a major flaw on these ( Fujix/Nikon E) 😈

The problem is most D2s are starting to suddenly die and they are unrepearable. It would be very risky to buy something that might fail any moment...! And still those old cameras ask for high sale prices. Tempting anyway though!
