    Hmmm .... I wonder what "compact" means ... (I don't own an fp) ...

    The fp's a good camera, especially for use with older lenses. I don't care whether or not it's the smallest.

    A good feature of the fp is the switch on top for video/stills. Mine stays on "stills", as I don't shoot video.

    It's an interesting definition, meaning that the original Sony A7R was not a full frame interchangeable lens camera according to Sony, since it didn't have optical IBIS.

    In the real world*, Sony ZV-E1 is wider, taller, thicker and heavier (with and without battery) than a Sigma fp.

    In practice, I normally use the fp with the loupe on the back, in which case it's definitely not compact. But you get a very nice big bright view.
