    Glad you like it. Yes, these are lovely small cameras that can do a lot. But the GAS still kicks in if anything can be done better. I hate myself. "Guess what FF image output would be like?"
    Well, it wouldn't because you would not take the camera with you in the first place! 😂

    In real life, getting most of the camera/any camera, is the fun.

    Well, the pic was a quick capture and the camera I had with me was the G7Xii.

    I have both EOS M and R cameras but having something that fits into a jacket pocket and still capable of excellent quality is very useful

    I am very impressed with the G7ll. I wanted something that produced a good quality image without having to use RAW. I also wanted something small and light. Very happy!!!

    The fact it shoot RAWs is part of the charm in my opinion and it is old enough so that the files are well supported by just about anything

    I sold my G7XII and later bought a G7XIII because I missed the camera and wanted to take it with me when I travel rather than take a bigger ILC camera. The mark II was very good and the mark III is also as good and even a little better. It is faster in all respects, which is nice. Nevertheless, nice photo and great little camera!

    @tommy
    I had a G7X and then a G7X ii. Lovely cameras.
    But I sold it and replaced it with a Sony RX100vii (said in a whisper) as it has better AF, which is important to me.
    But I do miss the G7X for many reasons, including the ergonomics and the wider aperture.
    So I may well get a G5Xii to replace it as I can't go back to not having some sort of EVF in bright sun light.

    @keg.
    Great shot there BTW.

    Hi Dave,

    I almost bought the Sony RX100vii and I forget the reason I didn't. I wanted the G5Xii but it wasn't available at the time and I ended up with the G7Xiii. I think the viewfinder is a nice feature, however for me the smaller size makes up for it. Good luck with whatever you decide to get or to keep!

    Tom
