Is it the site or FireFox ... Win 7, 4-core Dell.

What is it and is there a fix?

    Thanks for looking ...

For some messages next actions have sometimes helped:

    • log off from site
    • delete site related cookies
    • reload site with Ctrl+F5
    • sign in again

Is your internet connection stable? Connectivity problems are also rumoured to create intermittent red banners - they usually are popped up after (repeated) internal server communication failures.

    Hello Arvo!

Yes, even getting out of editor and coming back again can 'fix' it.

My internet connect is quite unstable. It is a Verizon modem which links to their mobile phone (cellular) network.. We live on the edge of the reception area for that network. If is not the application, I will live with it.

    Later,

    Ted

It is not code error, but certainly scripts behavior could be improved - such messages do not help users in any way, connections need to be re-established in more 'invisible' manner (if not already done in next version 🙃).

I think a future version will improve this behaviour.

This error means that your browser:

    • didn’t send a CSRF token in posting form payload
    • didn’t send a CSRF cookie
    • CSRF token and cookie were different

Do you happen to open posting form and go away from it for few hours before finishing the message? CSRF cookie in your browser may expire in the meantime.

Edit: I’ve looked at this and it doesnt make sense, CSRF cookie is valid until 2024, so it shouldn’t expire.

But I am seeing two separate CSRF cookies, misagocsrftoken and csrftoken, which is not what Misago does out of box. 🤔
