Thanks so much. I did spend most of my life in Victoria, and had been up to Falls Creek years ago. But I have to admit google maps was my friend here after I spotted the eucalypt forrests and from your clues figured it was probably in the Kosciuszko area, but the pine plantations initially threw me but then helped nail it down...

I have to apologise as I have no identifiable pics on my camera as I live in a rural area and have only had the camera a few months . So I had to troll through all my old phone pics. The best subject was just too poor quality and this is the best I could find... Name the river and the town it flows through.

I think Max was on the right track... Ovens river valley, Mt Buffalo...

ok, yes you are correct. Max was on the right track. My apologies to Max. I wasn't aware of the name of the region the lookout is overlooking and I didn't immediately associate cattle with the area.

Clarence River, New South Wales, Australia. The river runs through both Iluka and Yamba.

If that is correct I think I'll pass on the next turn and the next person to post an image can run the next challenge.

Hi, I thought about a Place where a Movie was made in the 80‘s?
Or would that be too „easy“ … 😉

I would throw in: it’s the Misissippi through New Orleans?

Hi Bryan, maybe a good place for the rich to have a ball?

Haha, yes Max has it. Richmond River, Ballina, NSW, Australia. And the pic is of the seawall / breakwall on the northern side of the river.

    Over to you sir.

I hadn’t intended that to be a guess, just a cryptic comment. In the old GTP we often did that when we wanted to leave it running for others to have a go at solving it.
I’ll pass on a turn now and offer a free turn next. Be the first to post a new photo.

As a long time supporter of this quiz I think we need to restore order and take this juvenile thread out of the antipodes. Name the water feature and the hill.

So very good to see you over here Brett, we can look forward to some great shots from lands to the north. Unfortunately, this current location is found immediately by Google Lens - it is annoying, but it does pay to check beforehand.
