    FREE TURN
A free turn is now on offer, be the first to post a new challenge.
”keep in mind that people must have a chance to guess it”
It’s very easy to post photos of obscure locations that are impossible to find by research, but that is not within the spirit of the game.

Do you think my photo was a bit too obscure? I

Ghundred, your photo was about the fourth we’ve had so far in this thread that has not been able to be found by research. It’s often difficult to judge how difficult a photo might be, but they should be able to be found and/or verified independently by using research such as map street view, photo sphere, sat. view, other photos, etc. We’ve all overlooked this at some point in the past, so don't worry about it.
    Max.

Ha ha. It actually turns up in an image search, but only in winter with heaps of snow. I don't mind throwing in a couple of clues, but not drag it out for a week. Or longer. All good.

Edit -could be something to do with limited audience as well. I once posted some photos sitting in the middle of the bush where I used to do a lot of hiking when I was a bit younger, and someone piped up, knowing the exact area and also the access roads to get into the area 😁 It's a small world. Sometimes.

Are we still on a free turn? Let's try this one. As always I have a hard time determining how difficult it may be, and mine are usually easier than I think, but that's okay. :-)

Outside St. Stephen's cathedral in Vienna? Do I get two free turns for naming the marching band? 😁

I can tell you it wasn't easy. It took a lot of digging to find out which city they were in. I looked at church photos in Vienna and decided it wasn't one of them (from an article that said they had been there and London). But nothing in London so back to Vienna and finally street view gave me the 1st floor window of the light coloured building...

Well done, right you are! Naming the marching band is the easy part - not where I expected to run into them though!

    Over to you...

I am going to pass again as I still haven't got any suitable pics.
