    Spotted a pair of Hairy Woodpeckers having a little chat today.

    Also saw another Yellow Butted Warbler (but not it's yellow butt RichZ).

    Hopefully I'll be able to take photos like this eventually. We don't have those types of wood peckers in the UK but I can try and capture something similar.

    Lovely we now have woodpeckers in Northern Ireland there coming across from England where there over populated looking for new nesting sites we have a pair not from far from me I have seen them not managed to photograph them yet lovely / wonderful to have them here hopefully soon get my first photo 🙂

    Ps it was only a month ago I was telling Andrew that we had no woodpeckers in Northern Ireland

    What species? We only have the Ruby Throated here.
    There are only 5 species in the US.
    There are 100's in Central America, more reasons to travel.
    You'll need 1/4000 or 1/5000 to stop their wing action!
    Looking forward to seeing your hummingbird pictures.

    They have 3 in the uk only one here at the moment the Greater spotted woodpecker 🙂
