    by Marc Aubry, sur Flickr

    On my left, the veteran

    The Kodak DCS 200 (1992)
    Sensor (13.8x9.2) of 1.5 MP (1524x1012 )
The second DSLR (the first truly transportable)
    Price: $9,000 USD
Photos were taken with the AF Nikkor 24mm f/2.8 D
    and the Nikkor AF-S 18-70mm f/3.5-4.5 G ED DX
    (multiplication factor of 2.6)
    50-400 ISO

To my right, the new kid

    The Fujifilm X-T5 (2022)
    40 MP sensor (7728 x 5152)
    Price: $1,699 USD
Photos were taken with the Fujifilm XF 35mm F2 R WR
    (multiplication factor of 1.5)
    ISO 125-12,800 (Ex 64-51200)

For the whole fight, it's here.

It is sometimes interesting to really see the evolution covered over the years.

That's a lot of difference in colour rendition. More than I would have expected.

Some of that may be down to how modern raw developers handle those old files.

No raw developer senility for Kodak, the raw developer that came with their 14mp devices plus their "secret sauce" of curve manipulation, possibly the colour window of their Bayer filters plus the sensors made quite enjoyable results (if kept within limits).

With the Kodak DCS 200 to have access to the photos, you must go through a SCSI connection.
And have a Plug-In (Kodak DCS 200) for Photoshop, to connect you to a folder that contains all the photographs taken.
You can then save them in TIFF format, one at a time.

Maoby your collection continues to impress me. Can I be cheeky and request something? Maybe a ccd comparison at some point. Maybe a d100 d200 d60 or something if you own them. On a nice colourful scene. Vs some cmos bodies. Interesting to see how the "base" out put has changed over time.
