I was going through some old photos and found part of a strip on Ilford Delta 100 that I used in Grand Staircase Escalante. Ilford Delta 100 in DDX. Used a Voigtlander Bessa R2a and 35mm f/1.7 Ultron. I used a fair bit of Delta 100, FP4 and HP5 on this particular trip. I never fell in love with Delta and stopped using it after this

I do like the Delta 100/400 it does give good results developing in Caffenol.
Do like most from the Ilford/Kentmere range (Harman films)

Just this weekend I shot a Delta 100 at iso 50 with an orange filter and developed it in DD-X 1+9 dilution. It came out quite nice I think. Mamiya RB67 50mm lens. Though, I do prefer delta 400, just to have the option when there is limited light.

Nice thing with the huge neg of the RB67 is that the grain on your 400 is finer than the 100 in my 35mm. That said, I love grain!

I'm certainly pro grain too. I tend to choose films depending on what I want to do. I have a 6x6 portraits series going where I prefer 400 iso films mainly for the light.

This is one of my high grain I really like - delta 3200:

Here is an informative video mostly about the Ilford black and white family of film.

I do love Delta 3200. I’ve been using a lot of Kodak P3200 as well. Delta 3200 in 35mm is fantastic for large grain.

These two are Delta 3200, rated at 3200 and processed somewhere between 6400 and 8000 iso. Large grain, crushed blacks. Perfect for street 😁

I like them! In fact I remember them from years back on DPReview, you posted them there. A Japan trip if I remember correctly :).

I think I shot my image above at 1600 and processed 3200.

Yes…I think I shared them a few years back. Great trips there.
