Not offensive -- just boring. It's like when you have a thread on this or that and people jump in to tell others how useless their conversation is. I mean, OK, but, like, why are you reading it then, much less responding to it?

you know when someone goes out of there way to try and make you feel like an idiot and then they stick there foot in there mouth and post photos that totally contradict what they are saying because they didnt look closly enough at there own work 🤔

so heres what happened. i posted a beautiful portrait showing what great shadow tones and detail the a7iv can produce. so some 20 year pro and he made sure that everyone knew, posted 2 images showing that his 20 yo canon 20d had just as much DR and shodow detail and my image wasnt anything special 😊 but what he didnt expect is that he was using fill light on his images ( eye highlights dead givaway) and the one i posted i only used a main light 😁 hense why my post got deleted 🤔 kind of funny hey. i thought that rolling my eyes was ok . obviously not. 😂

Well, I don't know the context of the whole drama, and you know I'm not going to take your side based on your account. 😁 But, if you're going to reply, at least say something useful or funny, right? My absolute favorite is the "Welcome to my blocked list". Uh, OK -- thanks for letting me know I can have the last word, I guess? And address your future posts without the drama of your rebuttal? Just don't reply if you don't have anything useful or funny to say.

Just saw this right after I posted. So, was all that on DPR? Do I even need to ask?

I am still sandboxed, looks like permanently for starting a thread entitled "Why do some photographers use Medium Format?". Nothing more nothing less.

From my past interactions with DPR Admin, this was probably because a thread like this might make users of cameras with smaller sensors, insecure and unhappy. So I guess Mako was right to kill it, as it was a nasty piece of "micro agression" towards those fainting hearts who use 1" right up to FF cameras.

To change subject. Nikon is releasing an interesting 28-400 Z lens. The morons, who I guess use other brands, are out in force on DPR with their disparaging comments below the announcement article.
