It's why they spend all their time making replicas of 1960's and 70's bikes. The nostalgia market sells. Same thing is happening in the camera industry.
It would be easy to make them converge - Danno’s 0-20 category could easily be 11-20 as there (almost) certainly won’t be any 10 year olds or younger on this site, and the 5 year category widths could be summed to give a constant width of 10 across the whole poll.
80% of forum members will be 40 years old and up for sure. At the Leica l-cameraforum, luminous landscape and rangfinderforum I would say the majority is 50-60+

I have heard the Harley riders in the 90s were the same group as the Honda riders in the 60s. Those people have aged out and now Harley relies on international sales to keep the numbers up.
@Mackiesback that is a terrible thing to say 😂 I thrive on learning a lot from older demographic. If wanted clueless information I'd join tiktok and get stupid pointless advice from my fellow demographic on there!
Yes, millennials and centennials spend lots of time on the internet, but not in camera forums like this one.
Another poll should be from the almost 4000 members here how many actually post something? I guess 80% of all the content is generated by maybe 80 people or so.
