( it put a shadow on half a moon )
From when I was a kid I hoped to see the moon's surface with my eyes.
Then, walking back hand to hand with GrandMa, it was just a very strong light staying just in front of us, for all the 5 km it took us to get back home after visiting a friend in winter, and autumn. At the time very few pictures were available, later I was an avid collector.
"And if I ever lose my hands
Lose my plow, lose my land
Oh, if I ever lose my hands
Oh, if, I won't have to work no more"
..and now that has happened.
"And if I ever lose my eyes
If my colours all run dry
Yes, if I ever lose my eyes"
...and that as well.
But ... Yesterday,
I've seen the moon as I could never have dreamed.
"Leaping and hopping on a Moonshadow
Moonshadow, Moonshadow"
Now...
( Look at me, I am old, but I'm happy )
