    Z30 + FTZ II + 150-600C / 1 out of 12 shots, 'cause air distortion

( it put a shadow on half a moon )

    2023-07-28 23.14.16_DxO-1.jpg

From when I was a kid I hoped to see the moon's surface with my eyes.

Then, walking back hand to hand with GrandMa, it was just a very strong light staying just in front of us, for all the 5 km it took us to get back home after visiting a friend in winter, and autumn. At the time very few pictures were available, later I was an avid collector.

"And if I ever lose my hands
Lose my plow, lose my land
Oh, if I ever lose my hands
Oh, if, I won't have to work no more"

    ..and now that has happened.

"And if I ever lose my eyes
If my colours all run dry
Yes, if I ever lose my eyes"

    ...and that as well.

    But ... Yesterday,
I've seen the moon as I could never have dreamed.

"Leaping and hopping on a Moonshadow
    Moonshadow, Moonshadow"

    Now...
( Look at me, I am old, but I'm happy )

¡Hola Alain! Really a nice photo of our moon. Have you tried enhancing its colors?

    No, just cropped a little.
... and sharpened two spots where the air played a bad role.

    😂 I shoot, I'm not electronic painter 😂

Alain, you don't need to paint anything, the colors are already there:

You can do a google search for "mineral moon"
