    Any one know how you can reset the list of cameras you are controlling, or from which you wish to recover photos in Imaging Edge? To my surprise the replacement device identifies itself with exactly the same string of gobblegook as the original camera. Nothing comes up on google or the app's FAQ. I would like to clear the list and start over without having to delete the app and its data.

    To answer my own question, at least for Android, one can delete the App's data without deleting the App itself. Settings, Apps, IEM, Storage, Clear Data (and, just in case) Clear Cache. You'll have to sign back into Sony again, but as long as you remember your current Sony password, that's easy enough. And you are good to reconnect (you'll have to jump through the QR, NR, or wifi hoops again for the replacement camera). Or you could do all of the above before you connect your phone to the new camera.
