I have the camera since it first came out and so far I have been impressed both by the IBIS (not better than Olympus, but pretty good) but also by the new sensor especially in terms of DR and resolution/cropping space. Here are some from 3 days spent on a beautiful place (Mystras, Greece) where there are two main highlights: Nature and the old capital of the falling Byzantine Empire.

I own both H2 and H2s. With the 40 mpx sensor, the focus should be "absolutely" perfect and quite often it is not easy to achieve it... especially with old lenses (not a sharpness issue, but an AF precision issue...
Also the sensor reveals to be quickly noisy if light is deam Using ETTR does improve that.
Last, the max ISO IMO to get good results is 1600, after there is definitly a visible loss of fine details
and.. the AF is a bit lazy in AFC and tracking

Great shots, and I agree, this sensor keeps amazing me. The definition, DR and low noise are incredible. So much I no longer use NR in post processing.

Noise can be a bit more profound vs the previous sensor, but we have so advanced denoise software that I no longer consider high ISO noise an issue anymore. On the contrary I am impressed by what I can recover in post processing especially if I am a bit careful with the highlights. Similarly I can crop to extreme levels and still get a nice picture!
Here is another example of extreme crop (little black bug) and another three where I managed to recover a lot from the sky.

I also have the X-E4 and X-T3 with the 26M sensor and I have 0 concerns with noise from the X-T5 up to ISO5000.

Alan, how do we know with whom one is replying? Your reply to an above poster is regarding which set of images? More a rhetorical question but I’m trying to figure this site out. Thanks!

If light is dim 1600 ISO is the max to avoid loss of fine details due to NR

I think the Reply button on each of the messages is misleading as it seems the posted message doesn't end up as an actual reply. I always click on the Quote button and that works perfectly.

Owning both H2 and H2s I must say that the H2 has mainly the advantage of cropping ability. Comparing same frame same time same lens showed me no more fine details. 2 difficulties with H2 : need for a perfect focus that is not always easy to achieve especially with old lenses whether or not they areon the Fuji list. And rapidly noisy results in dim light, loss of fine details due to NR after 1600 ISO. Somehow a bit disapointed, not surprised so much due to the small size of pixels...
