Apparently, Dorothy Parker did not actually say "I hate to write, but I love having written."
What has this got to do with 'site feedback?
Alan
The software is multi-lingual. Changing the English version might have unexpected consequences in translation. In any case, 'has written' is correct in this case, see here. It would be 'some people have written' in any case, but the plural from is something that the software doesn't offer. All post quotes come from an individual user.
OK Gents,
Leave the stupid "has written" as it is .. maybe it can be edited in post ...
... and maybe not.
Always worth a one-line crack or two and Alan seems not to realize that I am talking about the site software.
Do carry on ...
Out.
Your one-line cracks at my posts are getting irritating.
Or, should I say "Your one-line cracks at my posts is getting irritating" per this site's English grammar?

Oh.
Or, should I say "Your one-line cracks at my posts is getting irritating" per this site's English grammar?
? Where is that this site's English grammar?
Anyhow, in the dialect where I live it would be "Your one-line cracks at my posts am getting irritating,"

"More than a bit snarky" ... no worse than what some people has written here.

Not exactly, but can be simulated pretty well 🙃
Anyway, little in-post poll follows.
What to do with this thread:
a) nothing
b) move some posts to dump
c) move entire thread to dump
???
I did English Language at a very posh school when I was young. It's all a bit vague now, but I thing "wrote" meant it was in the past and that's the end of it, but "has wrtten" means it was done before now but is something ongoing. Or something like that (there's probably posh latin based words to describe it).
So, "has written" is probably more correct (as far as I remember).

That's what the grammar source I linked upthread said.
