It has been quiet here for a few days so I thought to post another pic I did near Steamboat Mountain along the Alaska Hwy in British Columbia. From the road you can never see the entire rock or mountain. From the Hwy it's actually over 2 km to fly over some rough terrain so a drone comes in handy.

Nice shot! Glad you had weather that co-operated...

It never ceases to amaze me on flying out of Vancouver that once you get up above the tops of the local mountains all you can see looking north is an endless ocean of peaks and valleys. Almost all of British Columbia is "off the beaten path", a good reason to have a drone here!

Thanks and yes, you better get yourself a drone one of these days! One reason I did not get a consumer DJI was that they are limited to a 500 meter high sealing or altitude above from where you launch. There are hacks for some but then your warranty is gone.
I did above image last January and was lucky with the weather for sure.

What kind of drone are you using?

    Autel EVO Lite Plus.
If you value automated flight features most DJIs are better. If you have the extra cash the Mavic 3 is really nice. If you need 10 bit video footage my drone is not the one you want. For nice sharp imaging the Lite plus is real close to the Mavic 3 (a friend has one and we compared both) also for night or low light shots the Autel is nice.
Out of the box a DJI seems a more polished product overall and for a beginner the Mini 3 pro has a lot going for it.
I personally don't need automated features other than what's needed to keep it stable etc. Autel does not force geofencing and can fly higher without hacks and that was my reason to get the Autel.

Is there an RC style controller for the Evo lite?. I like the DJI RC controller. I will never go back to s cell phone controller. I don't want a bigger phone than the one I have and I don't want to have to buy a tablet to see what I want.
I can adjust my max altitude on my controller. I believe it senses the barometric pressure when updating the home point and makes that the new 0 altitude.
