So Martin Parr has fortunately now been uncancelled, after the "London by Gian Buttarini" affair, almost cost him him and his foundation dearly. The stock of books were supposed to have been pulped, but finished up with various second hand book sellers. I bought a copy just as a protest against censorship. It is now quite valuable.

As for Parr, I have one of his books, in my collection, and I have his excellent Photo Book series he wrote with Gary Badger. I liked his work when I was younger, but I am not so sure now. He is very good at depicting the stupidity and shallowness of our society, but I wonder if he goes to far sometimes.
