    *What’s New in the 2025.1 Standard

    The 2025.1 version, published in November 2025, adds four new properties to handle metadata for AI-generated content: AI Prompt Information, AI Prompt Writer Name, AI System Used and AI System Version Used.*

    Including such data into IPTC is not a problem - but as this can be easily removed, then this does not help either.
    SynthID (steganographic identification) may help to detect AI generated content, but it needs to be included at the generation time - do current AI content generators include that or not, is not known to me.
