Very nice indeed, thanks for sharing
Very nice images! That combo has best IQ in the N1 world.
very nice!
Thanks All!
Great pictures. So why, I wonder do some denigrate small sensor photography.
I think the cx 70-300 is magic
Hi Richard,
Thanks!
In my opinion, the bird may not always be in the open area with good light, if bird is in the shadow or the light is not good, noises from the limitation of small sensor are really upset. If the environment is really good, the small sensor can also generate good images with suitable software.
The noises of small sensor may be better based on the recently Computational Photography progress on mobile phone, but it is really sorry that Nikon discard the Nikon 1 series. We have no way of knowing what changes will be brought about by the advancement of new technology.
Lovely selection, Kai!
Thanks! Tord!
Excellent results. I love the Northern Wryneck shots in your flickr stream!
Thanks!
Yes, it is really hard to hanheld without EVF. I really hope Nikon could provide "v3 body +J5 sensor". 😒
Great Shots with a truly wonderful lens :) the 70-300CX really is one of the star lenses on the N1 system. I too miss the viewfinder on the J5, I wish so much they had brought out just one more V model with the J5 sensor or better before the range got discontinued :( But this lens does perform very well indeed on the V3, I'm still shocked by the small size of the lens considering it's reach.
I do love the 50-250 DX lens on the Zfc but it's always a shock to see the size difference between the two and the fact that you get 810mm equivalent on such a tiny lens and body.
Agreed, 70-300CX is a really nice lens.
I had Z50 with 16-50 and 50-250 before, the lens are great, but I don't like the color for portrait and focus capability. I sold the Z50 with 2 lens and switch to Fuji for family activity and Olympus to take the photo of bird. If Nikon announce APS-C with Z9/Z8 focus function with acceptable price in the future, I may switch back to Nikon to take the phot of bird.
