Lake District & Liverpool

Been over to see my brothers in the North of England. Lake District and Liverpool for a few days. Liverpool is holding the Eurovision Song Contest on behalf of Ukraine, though it doeasn't start till next week

Very nice walk in the country on an overcast day, Rich. I particularly like the second pastoral scene . I almost can see Wordsworth sitting a little behind you ... I also like your river scenes in the city .. Nice trip I enjoyed the time spent here ....

A friend of mine lives in West Waterloo dock where they have been fighting developers. His place has a brick vaulted ceiling.

Very nice set, Rich. The first and third show the Lake District at its magnificent best.

You have a great eye for composition, Rich. I like them all, but especially the last one.

I did not know that you are Liverpudlian. Do you have that euphonious Merseyside accent like Gerry Marsden? He was one of my favourites of The British Invasion.

A very well done set Rich. I like the fourth a lot with the 'globe' in the water. Very different looking. They are all great though.

No I'm a Manc Rich but on my mother's side Scouse and my father's Yorkshire...terrible combo. Also took a photo of Billy Fury statue just on the banks of the Mersey. I suspect his music didn't make it to your side of the pond

You are wrong. Obviously #2 is the best followed by #4. 😛

Looks like you had pretty cloudy weather, and you made the most of it in your compositions.

Unfortunately Jim it's always like that in the Lake District. Sometimes it snows...

Aha...you spotted it ! I thought the bird, the Liver Building and the new Museum buildings in the background conflicted nicely too
