Try uploading the file as jpg (jpeg) instead of png. I don't know how that might affect one way or other. Also, if you're "saving for web," some software will scrub exif.

    Thanks.

Straight out of DXO saved JPG, and if posted here by upload the exif is shown. Strange.

This is a moving 3D gif, no idea if the forum will animate it.

I just noticed that when I posted the rose, it did not display exif on DPRev. Only when you quoted my entry did exif show up here!!

    Curiouser and curiouser.

Excellent - love the composition and use of DOF!

I agree - that's quite spectacular both as a creation of nature, as well as the capture of it!

    Thanks Alain,
I will try and get some more shots over the next few days. I just stumbled across it yesterday, in a cow field with very few flowers - just the odd withered dandelion and weed flowers.

I feel envious that you have so many different coloured water lilies to shoot. I am fascinated by the depth of the gold colour around the stamens. One would think that they were lit from within, such is the depth of the glow. I have some shots from earlier this year of just one variety. I will dig it out and repost it.

This was the best I got. Mostly they were wind affected or chewed by insects. All the same variety.

Nice image. Can use some sharpening and de-noise. If you do not mind I can run it through Topaz Denoise and Sharpen AI.
