Last summer, I spent some time in the white mountains and just happened upon a roadside patch of firecracker penstemon where rufous hummingbirds were feeding.

It is, and a beautiful male Anna. Tact sharp on the eye and nice to see in its natural environment, rather than a staged feeder shot!
Love the first shot with the seemingly translucent wings.
