If you click on the insert into message icon where your jpg is uploaded to, the photo will be seen without having to click on it. Beautiful creature!!

Terrific image, Gary. You nailed the action.
Horses last week...... OM-1, 40-150 f/4 Pro.
Seems quite soft unless you click on the photo.
Yeah. What a difference!
Is there info anywhere on how to upload? Do they have to be Jpegs & is there a size limit?

Going through forgotten pictures from last year. Not many keepers. But here's one from a slightly overcast but nice summer's day along loch Fyrtis. A much nicer day than today. Still brrr here. 🥶
Pistachio at his best
Good Pistachio is with us. 🥰
This my third attempt at posting an image. On the second try, I got two images, not sure why but I can't find them now! The preview doses not work for me?[!
Edit- I can see them now by clicking on my user icon.

Edit- I can see them now by clicking on my user icon but not when I look at the thread. When click on jpeg address - it says site does not exist? I spoke too soon , after further editing I cannot see them, only text relating to the image, Windows diagnostics cannot fix it.Old houses.jpg](/a/thumb/4DONHVNcQGb3zlZnTswH0zWvuTZME32KvG51SsMbGfSjCXqOslA7MAdcNOSN58df/592/?shva=1)](/a/4DONHVNcQGb3zlZnTswH0zWvuTZME32KvG51SsMbGfSjCXqOslA7MAdcNOSN58df/592/?shva=1)
You wrote in the special code both times. It's annoyingly long.

I didn't write the code, the site did itOld houses.jpg](/a/thumb/4DONHVNcQGb3zlZnTswH0zWvuTZME32KvG51SsMbGfSjCXqOslA7MAdcNOSN58df/592/?shva=1)](/a/4DONHVNcQGb3zlZnTswH0zWvuTZME32KvG51SsMbGfSjCXqOslA7MAdcNOSN58df/592/?shva=1)

Ok try this just to get the hang of it without those pesky quotes messing things up!
On the lower right of every post is a Reply button, clicking this will include that post as a quote in your reply. Don't do it! - there's no need for that.
Go to the base of the page and you'll see another Reply button (slightly larger), click that, you now have a blank-slate to reply in, good.
Now type something,
add a carriage-return or two,
click the Upload File button and choose your jpg,
once uploaded choose the embed image icon by the newly attached jpg,
it'll embed as a text-based link,
add a carriage-return or two,
type something.
Preview it.
Post reply.
Let me know if that helps!
