Just for fun I shot the same picture of the Duomo in Fidenza, with three different lighting situations.

The blue hour floodlit image is best, but needs white balance fixing. Did you shoot in raw?

I had some mixed lighting. Maybe this warmer version is better.

I would probably be happy with any one of these, but since I have a choice, I prefer the first one, as it has the most character for me.

Interesting to see and excellent work as always in capturing the essence of the building. I like this version best. Perhaps the ground is a little bit too dark for my taste, but the orange light in the window is just the perfect contrast to make it stand out to me. Fantastic work!

It is... brings out the beauty of the natural stone used in the construction. Just like various regions around the UK like the Cotswold's for example, the gorgeous stonework involved in the building of these places is what makes for an overall attractiveness, along with the lovely architecture.

I come from Bath and love the colour of the stonework in that area.

Bath and the surroundings areas are absolutely lovely. Did you ever check out Wookey Hole?
