    I used Topaz Sharpen AI and then Adobe Canera Raw. Tried the various models in Sharpen AI until I got something I could work with.

    It still needs a little tidying up.

    I just wanted to show images like this can still be "rescued" to a large extent and so.i wouldn't rush to throw it away as you were considering earlier.

    Missed focus or not, it is a nice one. I prefer this version to all others in this thread.

    Well, thank you all for your contributions. This is my last attempt, and I'm letting Lola rest. I have taken advantage of some of the detail that Dan's version provided (eyes, hair, hands...), and I have used a more discreet grain, as GB suggested...

    Nicely done! I like that a lot better than the first, and making it what I like should be every photographer's first (only, really) priority. 😁
