Subject: Tulip Farm Lonely Bench
This past Sunday I was at a tulip farm. It was the last day of the season, so there were not many tulip flowers. But I did find this lonely bench.

The sun had already set to the point where it was almost dark. I took this as an HDR photo using a high ISO level.

Nice picture. I like the tree with white flowers: what is it called?

It looks like it could be one of the 'Loderi' group of Rhododendrons. I have Rhododendron 'Loderi King George' in my garden and it has been magnificent for the past couple of weeks.
Thanks!
I think you may be correct. I read that they are plentiful in Oregon, where Digirame lives, especially at OSU.

Thanks Tom and David,
We have many rhododendrons in Oregon. I'm not that familiar with the types, but I understand that there are several species that are naturally occurring in our state, possibly as many as five.
Subject: Two Lonely Benches
Yesterday I found two lonely benches near some flowers. This was taken at Washington Park, in Portland, Oregon. Thank goodness for these benches. They are a welcome treat for weary walkers. 😀
