    Hi,

I am seeing old friends here. I am beginning to think this is the new home for us Medium Format Talk refugees. :)

In case of new friends, here's what I am doing with MF these days. Shooting lighthouses with a P645D. And then printing them, both on paper and textiles. As in making quilting blocks. This uses a specialty printer. It's fairly popular, too.

Here is one of the North Carolina lighthouses, the first one I took a trip to the coast to shoot: This is the Currituck Beach house in Corolla.

And a cell phone shot of it coming off the textile printer.

There are seven lighthouses in NC and, of course, many more along the East Coast of the US. The trips are becoming ever longer and so further apart in time to go to. On top of that, sometimes it takes more than one trip to get the shot I wish to print. It might become easier once I retire before long. ;)
