Look at this shot at large size.
While the title is perfect, we can get the message from the image alone. Diverging lines radiate from the subject. That's power and it is directed at the viewer. The subject is stepping towards the viewer and his eyes are fixed on the viewer. 100% appropriate.
Best of all is the hand. The mechanical talon fingers are perfectly positioned against one of the brightest areas of the image. The hand may be held low but it can't be missed and the sharpness of those points is emphasized.
The feathers behind the head. In shape, colour and brightness they give a frame to the head and our eyes go back and forth between the head and the hand.
The shot is so perfect that it might have been a planned set up but I don't think it was.

Thanks for your nice comment. I liked it, particularly the spread of the hand and the position of the wings. It was seriously underexposed, and I had to lift the shadows a lot to improve it. Then I cleaned up the noise. As you thought , it’s not a staged shot. I was walking down the street when this chap was leaving the store. I noticed him, lifted the camera, and took three shots—this is the best one.
