Is there a way to mark all posts in a thread as read? The auto-marking seems to be unreliable.

It's been asked before and is being looked into. Also the auto marking algorithm will change soon.

Yay!! Auto marking is a tad annoying, but there are not so many posts and threads yet that it causes me much grief.
Thanks for the work you have done so far.

Will this function carry over to marking all threads read in a category? I'm just trying to see what threads/posts are new since my last visit.

Marking posts in a thread as read is done.
Doing it for a whole forum is much harder. We are looking into it.
