I wanted a 12mm prime lens for my Olympus EM5ii but could not afford the cost of the Zuiko 12mm f2. I came across this Meike 12mm f2.8 on E-Bay for just £125 and it was mint and never used. Anyway, I read a few reviews online and most criticised it for being too large for M43 and the lens was too soft in the corners. I still bought the lens as it was a bargain and glad that I did because in my opinion it is a great performer for the price. The construction is generally very good although there is a bit of play when mounted on my EM5ii and the aperture ring indents are easily moved in use but none of that is a real problem. So here are my first photos taken with this lens.
