Here's a recent shot with my newish V2, posted mostly to test the forum. seems like my early problems are gone; thank you admins! I'm still trying to find the right size to make the photo though, can anyone help?

The problems I was experiencing also seem to have been fixed and I second your thank-you to the admins.
This looks good to me. 2000 px on the long side as this image is works. I have settled on 1600 px for my standard web post - it is large enough to show well, small enough to easily email to others, and hopefully not big enough for image theft.

For fredmiranda I have to 1500 ox on the long side, may just settle on that but it sure cuts the quality. I am spoiled by DPR allowing full size uploads.

What about storing your preferred larger versions on Flickr and then linking to Fredmiranda and/or dprevived? I've registered at Flickr (again) and will upload images as soon as I find the time to select them.

Yes, that would allow viewing them at full size. I used to use pbase for that but I dropped that years ago. I have thought about opening a Flickr account.
