    Lucky you.

    I hadn't realised they were so big. Just this past February I went deep in the mountains in Michoacan and Mexico State to see them. To get to one of the sanctuaries I had to go on horseback (an hour each way) to reach the permitted viewing area. It was some adventure for sure.

    Yes, here in NE Ohio, it's always great to see them, knowing that there has been a dramatic decline in the population. Good for you on your adventure!
