Hello, everyone and thanks for making Contributions to this worthwhile endeavor. Even with fewer participants, we’ll keep giving it a go. Other image threads on this site are interesting and I’ve participated.

This Monthly thread will serve as a place for those DPRevived.com members who own Fuji gear to share their recent work. It's just fine for owners to post images made with their “other” cameras, but the idea is to allow owners who enjoy their Fuji cameras to compare notes, tips, and any other helpful hints. Whether it was taken with an ancient point and shoot or the current GFX cam, all images are welcome.

To contribute your image, please respond to the original thread. Please include at the top your message a title to reflect what you wish to convey. Consider making it somewhat entertaining… it may add some “spice.” In addition to uploading/embedding your image, please tell us a little about the image if you wish. It is helpful to some of us who are less traveled to talk about the location of your photo if possible. If you can provide details such as camera, settings, and processing, that would be great for people reviewing the images.

If you wish C&C (comments/critique) please indicate that in your post. In this thread it should not be assumed everyone wants C&C. However, if you want specific feedback (composition, exposure, subject, etc.), don’t hesitate to mention it. It may be helpful to respondents what your needs may be.

    Thanks,

    Bob, your humble host

    PS…… Post away!

While I'm not able to contribute anything here (unless images shot with Fuji lenses on other cameras are allowed... then I have a lot to say!), I just wanted to mention that it's great hearing that you'll continue this thread! 👍 I've seen and appreciated some great images here in the last iterations!

Thanks for the comment. Though the thread was originally intended for imagery from Fuji cams, all images are welcome. I know there are other threads on this site focusing on categories and genres. The intent of these threads, and the continuation of this one in particular, is to encourage people to "partner" with their prized gear and see what art and beauty can be created. If their tools are used to chronicle the darkness in the world, so be it. My hope is these threads can be a beacon of light and the images produced go beyond this website. Heaven knows the world would be its beneficiary.

Wonderful shot and colors! It has a real vintage feel - do you apply some film presets? I seem to recall some Fuji cameras having a feature like that for images out of the camera.

You must have a small museum of Fuji cams!!! I do as well but not as many as you have shown here and that "other" website. 😁 Also I wouldn't give anyone the privilege of a good laugh seeing me 25 years ago and then the present.

    Thank you!
I shoot JPEG/Raw and my standard film sim is Pro Neg Hi. I process my Raw files in Capture one, which applies the chosen JPEG film sim on import (you can change to any of the other available sims afterwards, but I usually stick with Pro Neg Hi as I prefer its' colour gamut)
I do minimal processing - usually I add some saturation and perhaps raise the shadows but that's about it.
The Fuji files are very malleable and you can really go to town on them if desired :)

    Regards,
    Joe.

Nice to see an S(X)Pro cam's images. Some may not be familiar with the S2, which some say has produced some of the nicest colors in many a year.

I'm really impressed by this thing, but more so for my copy's "unique" issues. When it works right, like this, they are very nice colors.
