More from Wednesday and one from this afternoon. I have quite a few flower images from these two day unprocessed but I am tired of processing now. Drugs I think. A new one for pain from nerves. It is not nearly 100% effective but I can stand and walk so it is an improvement. Waiting for an MRI now to determine what is going on with certainty.

Thanks Jim. Those are in fact sweet cherry blossoms (the white ones). I have not processed the crab apples I took today yet. They are a darker red colour and do not show up as well as yours as the leaves on the trees are almost the same colour! Not sure why any one thought that was a good idea!

The purple flower and its monochromatic offshoots are a purple magnolia flower. I ought to have put titles in but I was lazy!

I should go out with clippers and cut away the small area on the crab apple with the tent caterpillars.

I sure like that tulip, Andrew. It is beautifully marked.

This tulip being torn apart by the wind as I made the picture at Gill's

Trying to keep my hand in but not feeling too communicative right now. The end is in sight, but it is the worst of it. Soon, I must sign the final papers and walk away from the family home for the last 50 years. I will miss the coast redwood seedling I planted there 50 years ago. I hoped it would be happy inland and away from the fog which feeds them. It was the size of a pencil. Today it is over 50 feet tall and almost 3 feet in diameter at the base. Rich

    Thanks WN.

A couple of decades ago when the MRI machines were more scarce, I had to drive to North York for a 3 a.m. appointment to get one and even then it was a long wait. They don't do them outside normal hours here anymore. They either are too cheap to pay the techs to work shift work and run more than one shift or there is a shortage of techs. I don't know which is the answer but I suspect the first. There is not an MRI locally so Brantford is the closest here are but there are others less than a two hour drive from home. The GP is trying to get one at which ever hospital has the shortest wait time.

    Thanks Rich.

Too much stress can cause withdrawal. About how I feel now from the inability to do much coupled with the pain. Yours will come to an end! That is something to look forward to. (Poor grammatical construction but ....) My wife's family home was torn down after it was sold. It was a large lot for a suburban community and had a creek in the rear of the yard. A new much larger two story home was built on the lot. Homes under a 1000 sq ft don't have much of a chance of surviving in large urban areas anymore. They all get torn down and rebuilt or a second story is added to the existing building. The land is worth more than the structure by a long shot. We drove by the old family 'homesteads' a few times after they were sold. A couple that we once owned too. It is sad in a way but curiosity remains.

The tulip I shot looked much nicer in life than it does in the image. Sometimes it is just difficult to do justice to the subject.
