Has anyone seen or heard anything from Morris? I miss seeing his images; I hope he is OK.

Bill has posted on DPReview within the last 24 hours, so probably just went back there for the time being.

Morris posted on FM Wildlife forum on June 3rd. He said he has had a sore arm and some tendinitis.

Thank you for asking about me. A bit over a month ago I came down with tendinitis in my left elbow. It was very painful and I was not able to sleep or sit at my computer. I'm being treated by a sports specialist and getting PT. There care has helped me and I'm no longer in constant pain and the pain I do have is not that bad. I'm thinking that I'll be able to take some photos in a couple of weeks though no action for a wile and only from my tripod. I need to take it slow to avoid reinjury. I'll try and comment on people's photos when I can and also start to participate in the forum.

    Morris,

I had that too. I went to a chiropractor, after I'd tried a sports injury specialist (a physio) with very little results.

She looked at the whole body and found that things in my back and shoulder were out of alighnment - corrected them (over a few sessions) and it's gone and hasn't come back.

My conclusion is that physios treat the symptoms and concentrate on muscle injuries and chiropractors seem to look at the whole body and try and get it all right (she also cured an ankle issue I had).

I'm glad you recovered Alan and that's very useful information should this path fail. He also spotted my neck issue so he is at least paying attention and I have PT for the neck next. The neck dates back 5 years to my pinched nerves and there are similarities. I'm going to stay on this program as it seems to be helping yet if I platoe I have a great next path.

    Thank you for the suggestion,

    Morris

    Hi Morris
I’ve been missing your frequent postings of your superb images and I was sad to learn of your tendonitis. However, I am very pleased to hear you are recovering, if slowly. I had related problems some years ago and I can vouch for the vital importance of rest until cured, although I had a range of treatments which no doubt helped.
Best wishes for a complete and speedy recovery.

    Thank you Phil,

Every week I have another milestone and this past week I drove for the first time in a month and a half. Then took a walk and drove home. This will make life a bit more interesting. I've also started to do small home projects and still taking it very easy. I'm thinking I may take some photos late next week or the week after.
