I transtioned in Nikon from initial D70 through D200, D300 and D700 to D3s. The weight and bulk of that camera with Nikon's golden lenses trio (14-24,24-70,70-200, all f/2.8) made me so tired that I sold all that (and some other lenses and flashes) and after 2 years of being without proper camera decided to go with Olympus E-M1 10 years ago and never looked back since then. First models struggled with AF, especially for BIF but now they are very good for my usage.

I completely understand you; with age, it becomes normal to upgrade to lighter cameras.
