Absolutely right - go back to the forums on DPReview while it's still there and tell people they'll find their friends here. It might be a bit rough and ready at the moment, but it will improve.

I'm just getting into printing and the DPR Printing forum has been hugely useful for me. Also much more convivial than many other DPR forums. I'm glad for this new option.

At first it was sad to see dpreview go, but I think this could even turn into something better. I'm glad to see alansh's site and this one combining.

Agreed. I was sad to hear of the old site closing. This site has been a breath of fresh air. I’m already not liking what i see on DPRForum.

I've been referring to DPReview since 2000 or so for my photography info. It's so disappointing that it's going away. Recently, I've been enjoying the printing forum & have learned much there. I hope to be able to pick up info here when it's gone!
