I received a (new to me) Tamron 24/2.8 lens yesterday and it has a "lens hood" unlike any I've previously encountered. I thought perhaps it was designed to accept filters but I think not.

The Sony APS-C 20mm pancake and 30mm macro use the same type of lens hood .
You can screw filters directly to it .
