In the aftermath of my Camera being stolen in Rome (over which enough ink and tears have been spilled), I decided to register all my gear with Sony. While both the 70-350G Zoom that I bought new from Amazon.it in April 2021 and the 24/1.8 I bought used from RCE (Italy) in October 2020 got me an acknowledgement and an "Extended Warranty", the newest lens - 11/1.8 I only bought (from Amazon.it) in February this year doesn't get a warranty extension email.
Now, I live in Italy, but my Sony bodies have been registered with the UK site since I bought my a55 from Amazon UK in 2011. Has anyone else run into this difference in warranty extensions?
