I know that this can be done for other brands, I missed if there is a way to do this for the OM-1. Is there?

Admin: I entered one message in this forum, and then this one, but even though I was still in this forum (I thought) it posted in a main forum.

This is confusing, perhaps even more so for former DP users.

Any way it can be changed to the simple DP format drop-down?

Yes it can be done. I don't have the camera handy but if you can not find it in the display settings menu let me know and I will get back to you.

Do you mean during playback (on camera)?

It should be visible in playback mode by pressing the "Info" button until you get to the screen with the image + histogram + info - the image preview should show the focus point as a green point/square.

If that screen doesn't come up when cycling through by pressing "Info", it might be turned off in your display settings.

This is done in the main menu, playback tab, page 3 (Displays), <play icon> info settings.

The option labelled "overall" needs to be checked on.
