One lone three. One lone man. One lone bird. One lone dust speck - All in One lone shot

    Sure I love that three.
It's two Kilometers away, I see it every day from my balcony.
I have finally received the Sigma 150-600C replacement.
The sun is shining. The wind is winding. The camera is shooting.

I see this 150-600C is really better than the previous one,
but not yet crisp as expected.

    Suggestions gratefully received.

Some of the crispness issue may be motion rather than the lens. 1/1250 is fast, but for that long a lens might not be fast enough, depending on other factors.

I'll probably also bring the overall exposure up a bit, but that's just me.

That looks like camera/lens movement. Was it on a tripod?

Yes, for the tripod, but the remote was out of battery.
I also forgot there was the wind blowing hot air up the mountain slopes. ( my bad )

This Morning I did a test session at 100mt sharp, with the light in my back, a 2Kg weight under the tripod, and a new battery in the remote.

    I compared 70-300 5.6E and 150-600C at the same focal.... 450mm - Crop 100%

    Then I tested 900mm and F/8 at 1/1000 ... I fixed a fly at 100Mt on the post sign !!!!
