Has anyone used one of these pouches for their camera+lens combo. I am considering getting one for walk-around protection for my x-h2s and lens.

I used one for years on a few different cameras. They are a pretty good option when you don't want to carry a bag (no case is needed if your carry a bag) or when packing just a camera in your luggage when traveling.

I wouldn't want to drop my camera with it only in the Optech case, but it served its purpose.

I do use them for my lenses, as it makes it a bit easier to pack lenses in the same section of the camera bag.

Yes, I have one that fits my XT5 + 16-55. It protects the combo in a rucksack. My XT5 has a leather half case fitted, which it accommodates. It is a reasonably good product, but note the version I have does little to protect the shoulders of the camera body around the lugs. It is easy to put on/take off and I use it most weeks when out for a walk. There is no model number on the item but from memory, I judged the size relative to the camera/lens dimensions. Would I buy one gain? Yes.
I also use the smaller JJC version on my XE4.
    Hope that helps.
