Recent panos I have been working on. If you feel like adding panos to this post, please do.

SW sky from Gill's Garden. I did not mess with this sky except for local and global tones and saturation. It looks like three separate types of sky put together, but this is how it looked. The Jet Stream was sagging south to right over Humboldt Bay and bringing kaleidoscopic changes almost as fast as a kaleidoscope.

Four panels in horizontal. MZ 12-100

I couldn't get far enough away in the garden shop. I stacked two and they stitched.

A different day in Gill's Garden. 13 panels in vertical.

I don't do a lot of Pano's, but I do quite like them. Spent many hours wandering through these range's in my younger days. It kinda murders it at 2048 pixels though. Shot with the Lumix 12-35 2.8

Corn fields bordering the Songhua river, Jilin province, Northern China. Lot's of people seem to think of China as just one big, enormously populous city. It's not. Spectacularly beautiful in many places.14443245435.jpg

The sky in the first is very interesting Rich. I miss DPR where I could upload an image from my computer at any size or resolution I wanted to show. I have not shot any panos for a while. I did try at the hockey finals for a group on the blue line after the game but I did not try to stitch it. I should go back and revisit some I did long ago that I liked then and see if I can do better now with better software.

Ghundred, Andrew I presume since that is the name of your Synology NAS. I like the second last of the ones you showed above. Not something I will ever see so it is nice to have a great view of it.

Thanks for the comment. Wasn't sure if I should post all of them here as they weren't all shot with m4/3, but if anyone is upset, I can delete them.
Yeah, another Andrew :) Done a fair bit of wandering around China, seen quite a bit that the average Western traveler is very unlikely to see as my Wife is a local, & there's ways and means to see a bit more than your average guided tour :) Covid has played havoc with that, things are only just now starting to return to semi normal over there. Probably do another trip in the next year or so

Thanks, Andrew. I miss DPR most because the loss of it looks like it will mean the loss of too many of our friends. I won't soon get over that.

Thanks, Dave. That sky in the first drew me from a couple of miles and I had to get there quickly. I did it, and without scuffing my new Michelins, too. Rich

Andrew, Ghundred, you are welcome to post images from any camera brand here (it says so in the opening pinned post of the forum with AlanSH's image beside it!). This 'forum' is a substitute for the Weekly Thread I ran in the Olympus SLR forum of DPR where any brand was also allowed. Originally it was a 4/3 only thread but as the years past the m4/3 cameras were added and then finally any camera. The change happened as a result of the discontinuation of 4/3 and the move of many of the contributors of the thread to newer cameras, either m4/3 or other brands and sensor sizes altogether. The thread had become a 'community' of people that had been together for a long period of time and wished to remain so while welcoming others.

Trips to China would be interesting. Not sure I could do the flight from where we live. They would have to pry me from my seat upon arrival!

    Andrew
